Anthony Dalesandro brings his distinctly strong visual style as well as his flair for comedy to the projects he directs.
In the commercial world Anthony was the Bonus Jonas in a spot starring the Jonas Brothers for Disney Channel and directed a series of spots for ABC owned cable network SOAPnet. This just after a series of web films for Yahoo.
Mr. Dalesandro directed tennis superstar and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Maria Sharapova in a branded entertainment piece for Motorola. His backhand is still rough but he can now swear in Russian.
As an early member of group 101 Films, Anthony directed 12 short films in 12 months. Among them SABOTEUR, has screened in numerous film festivals and on Lifetime Television as part of the IFilm short film showcase. His horror short film AVALON’S ROOM was part of AMC’s “Short Screamers” hosted by John Carpenter.
As a feature filmmaker, Anthony’s first independent film ESCAPE TO GRIZZLY MOUNTAIN was released by MGM. He is in pre-production to direct DEAD NED this summer.
Anthony is the recipient of the Marquette University Alumni Communicator of the Year Award, 2008 and pretty damn good at Guitar Hero.
